My favorite part was...the new and improved song in Jabba's palace. ROTJ is one of my least favorites.
The "emotionally moving" part of it all is cancelled out by so many of my babies be hammered to death by teddy bears with maracas.

I think fett_lover has a Boba "Fettish" (oh i'm so witty) Laughing

Quick question: was there an AT-AT on Endor? I remember seeing one when Luke surrenders, but I always miss it.

Well, you do see it briefly as Vader's shuttle is descending towards the platform, followed by a closer shot of the AT-AT coming to dock at the main part of the base.

I liked the new addition of the "JEDI Rocks" scene, it was a bit of a change in mood from the rest of the movie...even a total 180 from what we came to expect after the Cantina song in ANH.

I think one of the coolest things about ROTJ was the space battle. Until ROTS, we'd never seen a full scale space battle, with fighters and capital ships mixed together. It's the kinda stuff video games are made of. In fact, the SW Trilogy Arcade game has the final level at the ROTJ battle.

Actually, I'd have to say the skiff battle is the best. It's the first lightsaber vs. blaster full out battle with mildly intelligent flesh-and-bone bad guys you see. After the prequels you get sick of mindless battle droids. And I like the Sarlacc Laughing

You know, Lucas originally wanted all Jedi lightsabers to be only blue, like Sith sabers are only red in the movies. However, when the movie got into post-production, the blue blade didn't stand out against the sands of Tattooine that well, so he opted to use a green blade for Luke's new saber.

i saw the orignal trailor for the movie and it was blue. I think the change in sabercolor made it feel like luke has really ascended to jediknighthood by building his own saber and breaking away from the blue
