HA HA!! I agree. I get so sick of Luke. I now call him "Evaporator of Moisture" from his taunt in BF2. "you guys couldn't hit the broad side of a moisture EVAPORATOR" you'd think after working on them for 18 years he'd know they're called vaporators, not evaporators. Laughing

Eric for dragging yet another topic off track. I can't say for certain whether Luke is pronouncing the word right in the game, could be as simple as whoever recorded the dialogue didn't put a whole lot of emphasis on that part of the word.

When GL created all the characters of SW, he used alot of references to ancient history and myth. In the case of Palpatine, he clearly wanted to portray someone who beneth his regal exterior was a professional liar.
