Yes i look forward to Legacy of the force. From what i know Jascon solo stats going down a diffrent path from what you might excpet from him. Also the GA seem to becoming its own Empire. It looks good. I'm a little curios as to why the new comic due out in May is only 25 cents. Are they not sure they can sell this new time line.

Yeah, Omas seems to have those leanings, and with the state of the galaxy as a whole a new empire does seem possible. Although I will say Cal Omas is no Palpatine, he just dosen't seem slick enough. As far as the Jedi go the Order was doomed from the moment Anakin Solo died.

All signs pointed to Anakin being the logical sucessor to Luke. He had the natural gifts, not to mention he was one of those type of Jedi nobody could really have a problem with. IMO Anakin was what his grandfather could have been, but now we'll really know. To be honest I don't see a sucessor to Luke now, any Jedi that could take over(Jacen, Katarn, Horn et al) have their own personal agendas ahead of the will of the force.

I have read all the vong books and never got the idea that Anakin solo was going to take Lukes place. I really never read anything that showed anakin solo as powerful as his grandfather. What was pretty much made clear at the end of the Vong war was jascon has reached a new leve in being a jedi. He then went into 5 years of exploring the force where he learned stuff that luke never learned. In the last Dark next book there a part in the book where jaina see jascon do something that she never seen done before. It at the begaining were her and the other are back with the colony. He sticks out his hand and is able to stop the chiss from hitting them on the ground.

Powerful, yes young Solo is, but where are his loyalties? I believe they lie more w/ Tenel Ka and his daughter than the will of the Force. his corruption has already began to show itself in the Swarm War books. Lying to his own sister, maipulating Luke, erasing Ben's freaking memory. These are acts not to be taken lightly. Vergere's teachings were corrupted, and they corrupted Jacen's thought process.

No Vergers teaching did't corrupted Jascon. They helped the jedi defeated the Vong. He made his Loyalties very clear when he heard Lukes call and came back. He also follow Lukes orders better then his sister or any of his friends. In the last book Mara say that she can she Jascon talking Lukes place some. Jascon was only maipulating bc he did what his vison to come true. In Balance he has a vison that almost the same but almost loes himself after the death of his brother. Its only with Vergers helped did hi over come it. Now that why I'm looking forward to the next book it will explain what happens next. I hope they get ride of the Grand Master. It will caues other Palp to rise which would not be cool.

I have got done with reading bloodlines yesterday. I'm not posting this in the other one because I'm going to say things some people have not read yet. First off I love the story with Boba Fett. He 71 years old and still is one of the badiest bounty hunter in the galaxy. Han makes a joke about his son Jascon upsetting Fett by killing his daughter then turning around and talking it out on him and Leia. He said something along the lines of I know I can take him I just need some help. I find out he had a family, and that another clone from the war lived. The story now has Jascon going down this dark path almost like play a game of KOTOR. He runs the GA secret police except they’re not so secret. He pushed everyone away except Tenal Ka and his daughter. Which he may know have to kill to become the new sith lord to bring order to the galaxy. He keeps doing the time travel thing to find out how his grandfather becoming a Sith lord to not take that path but it seems there one in the same. The only bad part of the book is I did not like the way this author wrote Mara. She can write really well for Fett. They could almost have another couple of books about him, which would be great. Some authors know how to write for Mara and some authors I think miss what Zhan does so well. Tempest is do out near the end of November and now Exile which is the fifth is do out in February of next years.
