One of our JKOC Honorary Jedi Masters - Gerald Home (Tessek and Mon Calimari Officer) stopped by to post something over on the Ohio Garrison boards, I promised to forward the message since he mentioned JKOC. (isn't this R2's job?)

Hi Everyone,
Long time, no speak - so I hope all's well with all of you.
I thought I'd let you know that I had an interview on BBC Radio the other evening - and I mentioned you guys. It was a wide-ranging interview, mostly about STAR WARS, but covered other things I've done as well. It was a lot of fun, and I think you might enjoy hearing it, so I'll give you a link to the BBC site where it's available - but only until next Wednesday.
It's a bit "fuzzy", but it's all there is at the moment, and I can't isolate the interview from the 3 hour programme - so when you access the programme, click forward about 1 hour 45 minutes, until you get to the "Little Legends" section - and that's the start of the interview.
I must tell you, when I mention being made an Honorary Jedi Master by the Jedi Knights of Cleveland, there's a moment's silence. I only discovered why the following day when I spoke to Bob, the interviewer: I'd forgotten that the radio station is in an area of the UK called Cleveland; in fact, it used to be called Radio Cleveland, so they thought I was making some joke about a local group - they didn't realize I was talking about Cleveland as in Ohio, USA, and that I actually meant what I had said!
Geoff: I know I should really leave a message on your JKC site, but I just don't have time to join any more forums. I hope you understand.
Here's the link:

The interview lasts about 20 minutes, and as you'll hear, the interviewer is a lot of fun and a big STAR WARS fan.
While I'm here, let me tell you about a couple of magic events I've been to this year: Poland and Spain.
Poland: organised by the Polish Outpost - there are 2 pages of photos on my website, and here's another report:
www.lightsabre.co.uk/c...ah2007.htm
Spain: I narrated the story of STAR WARS in a 30th anniversary concert of SW music in Valencia, and I narrated the whole thing in Spanish. I still can't quite belive I did that! No need to tell you, this was one of the most exciting occasions in my entire career, and I'll never forget it. AND we raised a lot of money for charity.
Some of you know already - Geoff, I've seen a post of yours somewhere - that it was organised mostly by the Rebel Legion Spanish Base, and what a fabulous job Carlos and Maite did, with great support from the Spanish Garrison. Here's a video to give you a taste of the concert: it' my first speech and the Main Title:

Wow, this has turned into a long post. I hope you enjoy hearing yourselves mentioned on the BBC. I told you I was proud of the honour you gave me, and now you know it's true!
All the very best.
