| Wow, I'm posting in the EU. I was at the library yesterday flipping through the CD collection of movie soundtracks when I found one for Shadows of the Empire. Does anyone know anything about this CD? Was it made for something other then making more money? I don’t think I’ve heard any of this music before.

It was a soundtrack made for the comic mini-series of the same name (about early-mid 90's). I guess they figured people would read the comics and listen to the music at the same time... just a silly attempt to make some money off the franchise

Nope. Shadows was billed as "everything except a movie." They had a novel, a comic book, a soundtrack, toys, trading cards, a video game and even a making-of book.

I've got the SotE soundtrack. It's got a couple good tracks (besides the repeating J Williams themes)...but yeah, nothing like the varsity squad

I have the soundtrack too, I just haven't listened to it yet, and I've had it for like 3 years. Whoopsie.  I keep forgetting that I have it.
