 Post subject: New to JKOC I am. Welcome me will you?

Greetings all,
I've been inducted into Star Wars fan-dom through many years of influence with the main Star Wars fan in my family -- my wife (kenobilover).
I've been a mild Star Wars fan for a long time, having grown up with the first trilogy. The fondest memory I have is of my brother and I dueling with our lightsabers (the flashlights with the inflatable blade attached, remember those?). With my family's interest (my wife and 5 children) I've been exposed to more Star Wars than I ever thought possible and I've grown to enjoy it even more.
My favorite is Yoda and was totally thrilled to see his action in Clone Wars. His moves in ROTS were good too but the initial WOW of his fight with Dooku was awesome.
I'll leave it to my wife to give the details of our Star Wars family in her intro.
As a software developer, I've got a huge appreciation for what it takes to keep a site like this going. Thanks to B and any others that have subjected their brains to the Shredder to keep this site going.

I said Wisdom, but I do admit that His unique arrangement of the Basic language makes him even cooler. Although he does have a bizarre similarity to Kermit the Frog, I think is more understandable then most would think.
Most people go off the assumption that the similarities are due to them both being muppets. This, while part in part is true, there is more. In an interview (yes he really did say this and I am quoting word for word), George Lucas said "Yoda is actually the illegitimate child of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. We've never discussed this before, and don't let it get out, because if that hits the National Inquirer we're all dead."
