JKOC Code of Conduct
Jedi Council Members, Jedi Masters, Administrators and Moderators
You will follow the Terms of Service of JKOC.com to the letter. Yes, it may seem unfair of you to have to be that careful with what you post, but you do have to remember that as officers at JKOC.com, you are representing The Jedi Knights of Cleveland both in real life and in the various forums you post in. You are role models for the other members of your chapter. They will be looking to you for examples of how to behave and post.
You must be polite, courteous and helpful at all times. We are not asking you to be perfect. We are simply telling you that you must post with proper tone and courtesy during your tenure as an officer of The Jedi Knights of Cleveland or JKOC.com. Once again, you are representing your forum, and must act as a role model at all time.
All Jedi Knights of Cleveland Members
At all group events, meetings and happenings you must be polite, courteous and helpful at all times. We are not asking you to be perfect. Simply stated, you and your conduct are representing The Jedi Knights of Cleveland to the general public. We must present the best public image as possible. You will be whom they see and ask questions of regarding who we are, what we are about and membership of the group. So you must act as a role model at all times.
If you are concerned that what you are posting is against the TOS, do not post it. If what you are saying was fully appropriate for these boards, you would not have that small doubt about it. If you are not sure about something, contact the Site Admin or Moderator and ask them - they will be more than happy to help you with any of your queries.
Furthermore, if you see something against the TOS posted in one of your forums, you must contact the Site Admin or Moderator of the board in question and have it removed. Yes, it may be an unpopular move, but part of your job is to keep your forums clean and point out to the Site Admin or Moderators anything they may not have seen.

Are you down with the fluffy quickness?
1337: n. 1. Nestled between 1336 and 1338, 1337 is commonly known as a number, or for the more advanced; an "integer"
2. Often misused to satisfy a laymen's ego, the self-proclaimed 1337 will misuse the title, pretending to hold "Xtr3m H4x0r" capabilties while in fact anonymously hassling n00b's with better things to do than play mindrot such as Everquest and Warcraft. |
