there's been a pretty major behind the scenes site upgrade recently. it appears to be solving some of the problems people have been experiencing with login issues.
also, errors were made. everyone, please change your sigs... they got busted down to 255 characters.

Overall this site runs great. Thanks for all the work, Brian.
btw -- last night (Sep 26) I couldn't log off. I'd click logout. It would say OK, but I'd click Go and it brought me back to Home still logged in. Could that have something to do with the temp full/cookie problem you were mentioning?

That happened for me as well...I turn on the computer at work, and (after logging out last time) I'm still logged in. I don't sign off at home, so I wouldn't have noticed it here.

i think that all our users need to clear out their cookies... from jump... there are probably some that start "www." and some that don't...
we should all try clearing all the JKOC.com cookies and see if that helps with any future problems...

For those of us who aren't uber-tech savvy, how does one toss their cookies (without imbibing plenty of alcohol or syrup of ipecac, of course)?
