Hello there all ,
my name is Veil ... I met most of you at the Episode III opening weekend ( I was dressed as "Goth Vader " ) . Anyway ... I had an absolute blast that weekend but I lost Krash's # . luckily I ran into Krash recently at the mall , got in touch and signed up ! I am very excited about the upcoming Lazer tag function as well as any other that you may have coming up ! I intend on being a very active participant with y'all !
a little about myself .... hmmmm what to say....
well.... I'm obviously a huge sci-fi fan ... and a collector of prop replicas , toys , Posters model kits , movies ( old and new ) , some comics , and movie accurate costumes . I also sing in a couple of rock bands . ( I like to put on theatrical performances ) I'm ( as well as a Star Wars fan ) also really into Star Trek , godzilla ( I go to the G-fest every year ! ) , horror movies , and animals I have almost a zoo !
My hobbies are thus .....
I am currently writing a ( Star Wars ) fan film , I build costumes and model kits , I love going to fan driven conventions , hosting parties and i'm a hell of a chef !
I look forward to hanging out with everybody !
Veil~

I say once a Geek always a Geek. There nothing wrong with being one I'm proud to be a geek.

Welcome (once again) to the JKOC!

It was really cool running into you at Great Northern. After meeting you and so many other cool people at ROTS opening weekend, it was really starting to bother me how we lost contact with ya after the May meeting. When I saw the name on the back of your jacket (in the store), I stopped turned around and told Satxer I had to check with you to see what was going on? Talked on the phone, got you onboard for the LX event, and had a blast at "Ultraviolet" Let the good times roll (again!)

Funny thing is, Veil signed up and has already been to at least one of our meetings.

"Still a geek." If you're a geek at heart, you're a geek through and through.

Welcome! My boss called me a geek yesterday. And he's a geek. I created "yoda cam" -- a web cam pointed at one of my yoda figures (the one that came with the Empire Strikes Back cup) and I make him hold a sign that tells what phase of a project we're in. The rest of the team can then access yoda cam (works really convenient as a window in Active Desktop) and see how we're doing. Things went really well today and Gandalf (from the Gandalf and Balrog at the Bridge of Khazad-Dum playset) joined Yoda to tell everyone to "go home".

So, welcome to geek-central.

If a little more of the original question was going on, then I'm sure we'd have cures for cancer and AIDS by now, and would have solved poverty and world peace problems too.
