Getting back to possibly revamping or reinstituting the Movies section, have we considered having two sections such as "Currently Playing" and "Forthcoming Soon" or even a third one "Forthcoming Long-Term" I'm just fooling around with words here. It could be termed something else. I personally don't like to visit the forums on movies to be released way in the future because I don't want to be spoiled so I would like to see those forums designated somehow so I can avoid them. Is this the type of feedback you are looking for, B?

this is similar to something the Mods and Admins have been discussing... i'll make sure your feedback is heard. i'm wondering if there is anyone else who would support a general split in the movies forum like this.
this and any constructive feedback is welcome...

1337: n. 1. Nestled between 1336 and 1338, 1337 is commonly known as a number, or for the more advanced; an "integer"
2. Often misused to satisfy a laymen's ego, the self-proclaimed 1337 will misuse the title, pretending to hold "Xtr3m H4x0r" capabilties while in fact anonymously hassling n00b's with better things to do than play mindrot such as Everquest and Warcraft. |

Personally, I think dividing movies into "Currently Playing", "Forthcoming Long-Term", and "Forthcoming Soon" is too much of a hassle... it will be a lot of "housekeeping" on the admins' part... once the movie hits theaters it will need to be pulled from "Forthcoming Soon" to "Currently Playing," which means more unnecessary work for already busy admins.
I don't see why the movies should be divided up at all... just as how a television has channels that you can avoid, I feel that if someone doesn't like how movies are being discussed (so long as the posters follow the ToS) then they can avoid those threads... regardless of the timeline of the release of the movie.
