Yeah...why does anyone think I want his autograph at CIII.

But going back to the questions, does any other changes really seem that big to any of you?

**Casts a necromancy spell on this thread...**

I was watching ROTJ the other night... and noticed something that wasn't quite right...

At the end of the movie...where all three spirits are standing there... Anakin's wearing traditional Jedi robes...

...yet in either AOTC or ROTS... he wore that other ensemble...

So, let me get this straight... when you're a ghost, you not only come back as a 20-something... but you get a change of clothes as well?

"Ooooh Luuuucy....you've got some explaining to do...."

Yeah, I thought that the "light" robes were supposed to reflect his more "light" Jedi nature. It's a metaphor.

As he's progressing towards darkness, he's wearing darker clothes.

I never really looked that closely...but was it just Hayden's head on Sabastian Shaw's body? Or is it Hayden in the traditional jedi costume?

I mean, I get it...some people went nutz at the mere idea of replacing Hayden's face for Shaw's, so they left the jedi robes the way they were. You could even justify it in the story as that was how Anakin (or rather Yoda and Obi-Wan who knew the secret and brought him back) would have ended up, had he not fallen to the dark side.

That's correct, Hayden's head on Shaw's body.

Even that's a bit of a shaky hypothesis... there's this little thing called aging that most of us do over the course of twenty-four years. To be honest, I know why he did it, but I'm still allowed to think it was a bad decision.

Yeah...that's the ticket...the clothes are made of a magical substance that allows them to stretch and grow with the wearer... as they age, they transform into the traditional Jedi robes... Razz Laughing

I think this is one of those cases where Uncle George screwed up Cool

He's a burn victim. They don't regrow hair on severe burn sites.

Yeah, and I think we went round and round, where I followed up with "that sorta gets into how you percieve the afterlife...when your grandparents pass on, do they HAVE to look the way they did at the time?" No need to start that up agian...discussion of different perspectives is good, "hakuna-mata" and all that! Wink

I think why GL did it was pretty straightforward (right or wrong). In retrospect, I think if he was going to replace Hayden in the scene...go all out with the ROTS look.

Your perception determons your reality. When you pass or get out of the body anything you think of(within some limits tho) happens.

Also, any scarring of the hair follicle area will cause that too, doesn't just have to be burned.

Nope, all hey did was add Hadyen's head and alter the smush(on the horizontally axis)Shaw's body to make him look thinner.
