I know everyone can recall the scene when Han & Luke, disguised in Stormtrooper armor escorting a 'captive' Chewbacca, being confronted by the Imperial officer standing in the command podium...
"Where are you taking this...THING...?"
Maxim magazine listed the guys as "The Racist Imperial Officer", but never mentioned the actors name.
However, I noticed something vaguely familiar about him... the guy resembles (to me anyways)... Rutger Hauer. I swear he even sounds like him. Then again, I've checked imdb.com and there's no record that he was even in the movie (even his own bio doesn't list it).
So, does anyone here know who played that officer?

Would you want your name floating around with a reputation like that? I mean Billy Dee Williams got tons of dirty looks for betraying Han Solo...this guy would show up to C3 and get his butt kicked by several guys in Wookiee costumes

Maxim magazine gave him the label; he's probably just listed as "Imperial Officer" in the credits (if he even made the credits). It's amusing that fans will take character actions (especially a "bad guy") to such extremes- hate mail, death threats, assaults, etc. Then again, these days, people relate more with the "bad guy" then they do the "good guy"
I've just always been curious whether or not anyone can identify this actor

Malcom Tierney is the actor's name. His character is now listed as 'Lt. Shann Childsen'; apparently, it was an uncredited role.

The story about Billy Dee, was from back in the 80s...lil kids giving him a hard time because "you beytrayed Han." (funny stuff)
I doubt anyone would seriously give Malcom Tierney any trouble, it'd be funny to see an angry Wookiee at his booth during a sci-fi convention though.
