| Hi everyone my name is Miles Im from Massillon. I have loved Star Wars forever. I have a gigantic star wars action figure collection. I have acted in, directed, wrote, and produced a few very primitive films with my friends too. I have taken Karate (Ne-Du-U-Kon-Tae karate kung fu if you want to get specific) for 5 years and am currently a first degree Black belt. I am also in a Navy youth program called the sea cadets. I've made two of my own jedi costumes and I too believe that a person can practice being a Jedi by living like one.

Hi Miles, welcome to the group! If you need anything, just ask!
I'm not getting on your case personally or anything, because I've seen the same question on other boards too, but I don't know why so many people have to differentiate between the OT and PT. I mean... it's one long story arc, therefore I really don't have a preference. All 6 movies are great. Of course I think some are better than others, and I could rank them, but I don't think I could choose an entire trilogy over another, so I'm abstaining from your poll.

"Hello there"
I think what Eric is trying to say is...might not have been a bad idea to include a 3rd option: "it's all SW...it's all good IMO"

I hear ya on that one! One of the reasons we do some much with events like "Relay for Life" and "Bowl For Kids Sake"...and you don't need a costume to feel good about helping others.
We've got a couple people in JKOC who've got some martial arts experience...I'm not one of them, but working on a fanfilm was a interesting experience to learn some of the techniques used (in the SW movies as well)
