Nobody questions the strength of an Imperial walker coming into view over the horizon on Hoth. However, there is an even more impressive sight: when Star Wars fans get active in helping others.
For a number of years, Ohio Garrison 501st has been involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walkathon. Now, we are happy to announce that there will also be a Cleveland team, consisting of our friends who are part of both Ohio Garrison and The Jedi Knights of Cleveland.
On Setember 17th, the Cleveland team from Ohio Garrison will be at The Cleveland Metropark Zoo participating in the 10K walk. And if that wasn't enough, they will be doing so in full Imperial armor!

This year, The Jedi Knights of Cleveland are fielding two teams for our annual “Bowl For Kids’ Sake" fundraiser, benefiting Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland.
We will be bowling on April 30th at Cloverleaf Lanes, as part of the B4KS Community Bowl event. In keeping with the Star Wars theme of last year, Rebel Strike Team is back; along with the new IMPERIAL LEGION. Members of both teams have discussed bowling in various Star Wars costumes, both Rebel/Jedi and Imperial. |
