Its meeting time again. We will be having our June meeting next Sunday July 22, at egbert park in the Bedford reservation (tinkers creek area). We are going to attempt to get the pavilion, if we don't there are plenty of trees for shade and several grills for cooking.

Recently, The Jedi Knights of Cleveland got together to enjoy some of what makes us The Force of the North Coast.
On Saturday, June 17th the group hosted our bi-monthly meeting at one of the pavillions at Lakewood Park. Along with a chance to socialize with our fellow JKOC members, this month's meeting also featured our annual summer cookout. The cookout was a pot-luck dinner and thanks to everyone for bringing plenty of food, beverages, and cooking supplies to make the day a success.

On March 18th, The Jedi Knights of Cleveland hosted their annual fundraiser for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland at Lazer Xtreme in Middleburgh Heights. Proceeds from this event goes to the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland "Bowl For Kids' Sake" charity fundraiser.
Once again the event was an overwhelming success with fans of both Star Wars and laser tag. Games were being sold out, sometimes hours ahead of time, and guest waited for their chance to experience adventures in "a galaxy far, far, away" with costumed members of Ohio Garrison and Rebel Legion.

| Star Wars films coming to Akron-Summit Library |
The Akron-Summit County Public Library is pleased to announce that the entire Star Wars saga has been added to their 2006 "Movies @ Main" program.
Each movie will be shown in the Main Library Auditorium starting at 6:30pm. Admission is free and these events are open to the public. Free parking can be found in the library's parking deck after 6pm.
Akron-Summit County Library schedule:
January 25th: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace *
February 2nd: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
February 9th: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
February 16th: Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
February 23rd: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
March 2nd: Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
* date changed to a Wednesday showing

| Firefly Minigolf/Suncoast - UPDATE |
Last weekend, Southpark Mall (Strongsville) became "a wreched hive of scum and villiany" as The Jedi Knights of Cleveland helped celebrate both the release of Revenge of the Sith on DVD, as well as halloween weekend.

The next general meeting for The Jedi Knights of Cleveland will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Rocknie's (located at Ridge Park Square). The meeting will start around 4:00pm.

 What better way to spend Labor Day Weekend, then listening to the music from the Star Wars movies? Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra are pleased to be performing an entire concert, at Blossom Music Center, dedicated to the music of the Star Wars saga.
